misrepresented product/ poor quality /long turn around time

I found my dream wedding ring set at Helzberg.Or so I thought. Unlike anything I have found elsewhere.my issues didn't start until a month after I started wearing my engagement ring.

I found that the finish seem to be changing. I brought my ring in for a cleaning an asked what the issue could be with it.At that time I found that I had been sold a white gold plated wedding set.The associate proceeded to ask me if I had purchased the warranty coveringthe finish? I had no idea that for my entire life I will have to bring my rings in to be refinished on a monthly basis. (I only hope that i continue to live near a store) I wasn't told about it at the time of my purchase, or I wouldn't have bought them.

I then had to purchase an additional warranty to be able to have it done, and after they switched jeweler repairs to their corporate location I now have to wait two weeks for my rings to be returned.

First I paid for something I didn't know was not 100% gold.now half of the time I'm not even wearing my ring because I have to have it sent further away to have it dipped.I could have purchased 100% gold and better quality diamonds(that unfortunately keep falling out) for the price I spent here. I will never buy anything from them again and I highly recommend you go elsewhere.

Location: Bakersfield, California

Actually everything white gold has to be rhodium plated, no matter where you buy it, gold is yellow naturally...not white, it's solid gold, the refinishing replaces the rhodium likely broken down because of your skin chemistry, I have the same issue, and I'm a jeweler! The associate should have explained the difference better to you, but irregardless it would have occurred wherever you purchased white gold from! Just so you are aware for future reference, I can't wear white gold mine breaks down within a month

First of all it is really gold, but if you purchase white gold from any jeweler it will need to be dipped every six months to a year depending on your personal activity and body chemistry. Gold is yellow it has to be rhodium dipped to stay white.

Helzberg is the finest jewelry store in the springs. I buy all of my jewelry from them and am highly satisfied.
